I post because we all love the OWS scene so much. But come our corporate political convention, the dems will be on the wrong side of the barriers.

2. Don't mentally erect the barriers beforehand

...bridges may appear leading in Four Directions.

We don't know yet. We shall see.

4. Hate to say it, but your bridge seems to be going nowhere.

8. Nope. You just need to lift up your eyes and look across the watery chasm
Edited on Wed Nov-02-11 06:33 AM by SpiralHawk
There is a far shore. The bridge clearly leads to it. We could make it across. Or not.

Check it out.

6. perhaps
but as long as we are a party of the drug war, a party of wall street, a party of the m-i-c, a party of empire, and a party of the 1%, I don't see any reason that #OWS should support us.

thank you for the reply and the pic..

3. That's the Time / Warner Arena in Charlotte, NC during the week of September 3rd...
Seem like as good a place to pitch my tent as any that week.

5. I would normally be at the convention if possible.
I probably will be, but most likely with OWS. I want to watch the flow of politicians to the "parties" held by Wall Street firms and the like.

10. As they should
R & D are meaningless at this point. All of them are deaf, dumb and blind to the savagery they've helped cause to their fellow Americans. At this point, it needs to be take-no-prisoners or it'll all be a waste of time. EVERYONE in politics has to be held accountable.

11. OWS better be at the DNC
Look at the Dem pols getting ready to slash social security and medicare on that BS super committee.

Not to mention our President passing multiple american job killing free trade agreements.

We are at war with third wave/dlc dems as much as we are with teabag rethugs. They are both enemies of the 99%.

13. Good because if the DNC leadership sticks w the corporations, they will lose elections
They need the push. I for one am done voting for corporatists and have told OFA not to count on us for GOTV.

14. Well show me one DC democrat who has effectively fought for the 99%.
There aren't any. They should be occupied, but for a different reason than the gop.
