Tell MSNBC: Fire Pat Buchanan!
http://act.credoaction.com/campaign/fire_buchanan/index2.html?rc=fb_share1

For years, Pat Buchanan has passed off white supremacist ideology as legitimate mainstream political commentary. And MSNBC continues to pay him and give him a platform on national TV to do it.

And he's at it again.

Buchanan has just published a book which says that increasing racial diversity is a threat to this country and will mean the "End of White America."1 To promote his book, he went on a white supremacist radio show whose host has said things like "MLK's dream is our nightmare," and "interracial sex is white genocide."2

Buchanan should be able to say just about anything he wants. But MSNBC -- a network that is now working to position itself as the progressive alternative to FOX News and CNN -- doesn't have to pay him money and give him an international television platform to spread his racist lies.

1. I disagree.
I don't want MSNBC to be a left mirror image of FoxPAC-TV.

I don't agree with Buchanan either ... but I want to hear what he has to say. It's that freedom of speech thing and that revulsion at censorship thing.

At FoxPAC-TV they hire DINOs to be the "balanced" part -- at least MSNBC gets the real thing, like Buchanan, as awful as his positions are (except on the economy, where he gets what the decline in manufacturing has done to this country).

3. I want msnbc to be a left mirror image of Fox. I want all the propaganda mills like Fox
and the big networks to go away forever.

5. You theory that 'freedom of speech' means paying hate speakers
to broadcast hate is not a theory I accept. Pat is paid huge amounts of money to deliver that bullshit, they buy the bigotry from him, it is a product they purchase.
When you refuse to purchase Cheney's book, are you censoring him? If 'balance' is the idea, where are the atheist or Islamic voices? Where are the socialist voices? Explain to me how Joe Scar and Uncle Pat create balance between them, specifically, please.

2. Fire his racist ass. Besides MSNBC just hired Meghan McCain.
And that I support. If it promotes healthy dialog, I am all for it.
