Stop Public Unions! email I received.
I don't know how I got on the list to receive this email but I was shocked to see it in my inbox.

Subject line: Governor Scott Walker is Under Attack
From: SPUN @ actionpolitics.com

Governor Scott Walker is Under Attack!

They failed to overturn the Republican majority in the Senate;
Now they've set their sights on the Governor...

Wisconsin’s public unions - and the union bosses that control them – love getting your tax-dollars - so they don’t like Scott Walker.

They are threatened by his reforms and are doing everything in their power to maintain the status quo.

By contributing to SPUN, you can send the union bosses a message... That you support Governor Walker’s reform agenda and you are willing to stand up to their anti-democratic, thuggish tactics.

Public unions receive millions of dollars in taxpayer money every year, taxpayers pay for union leader’s lavish retirements, and the bosses know that having Wisconsin’s Democrat lawmakers in their pocket will ensure lucrative contracts never stop, no matter how much further in debt we get.

For public unions and union bosses, Wisconsin’s status quo gives them a comfortable and cushy lifestyle...

All funded at taxpayer expense.

Send the message to union bosses in Wisconsin and every state across America, that taxpayers are sick of business as usual and are putting their state and their country above the unions’ selfish interests.

By contributing to SPUN you will help keep the fight against public unions that are hampering economic recovery alive!

Wisconsin Democrats – funded largely by public unions – are gearing up for a recall fight that will cost Wisconsin taxpayers millions of dollars and divert attention away from the serious issues facing the state.

Never mind they are also looking to overturn a duly elected Governor who is willing to take on the difficult issues to fight runaway spending, create jobs and rebuild an economy in tatters at the hands of big unions and big government liberal spending.

Rather than stand with Scott Walker to reform a broken state government, create jobs and improve the state’s economy, Wisconsin’s union-backed Democrats want to usurp the democratic process because of a political grudge.

Scott Walker is helping Wisconsin move forward, and isn’t afraid to take on big unions. They are threatened by his reforms and doing everything in their power to block them.

The Union thugs are likely organizing in your state already, but whether they are or are just preparing to, you can bet they are watching to see what happens in Wisconsin. And if they can make it there, they will look to take the battle everywhere!

Governor Walker wants reform and jobs while public unions want to keep in place a broken system of backroom deals where they win and everyone else loses.

Don’t let the union bosses win this time.

Make a contribution to SPUN today to send the message that you stand with Governor Walker and against corrupt union dealings and political theater in Madison and every other state capitol.

Please contribute to Stop Public Unions Today, to put an end to the union choke-hold on our tax-dollars, our economy and our country.

Sincerely,

Will Black, Executive Director
Stop Public Unions Now

P.S. If the union bosses win in Wisconsin they will set their sights on more governors and state houses to preserve and even increase their hold on state budgets. We must End the Union Chokehold on Our Tax-Dollars, Our Economy And Our Country before it's too late! Please help Stop Public Unions today.

owned by a series of companies/PACs/foundations/charities that only exist on paper, probably...

12. Makes me wonder who is writing that garbage.
One of the 'articles' uses the word whinging. Americans don't use that one; we say whining.

A Brit wrote that article.

Whinge is a perfectly good word, but Americans don't use it. Really, a Brit wrote that.

I've been remiss. I really haven't been practicing any thuggishness lately. I don't want to let the right down.

21. As far as I know I'm not on any RW mailing lists
Though I did recently start getting emails from the Washington Times (so someone may have sold my email address).

I don't have the temperament to receive this shit in my inbox on purpose.
