Third woman comes forward to AP ...drip..drip...drip
A third former employee says she considered filing a workplace complaint over what she considered aggressive and unwanted behavior by Herman Cain when she worked for the presidential candidate in the 1990s. She says the behavior included a private invitation to his corporate apartment.
She worked for the National Restaurant Association when he was its head. She told The Associated Press that Cain made sexually suggestive remarks or gestures about the same time that two co-workers had settled separate harassment complaints against him. The employee described situations in which she said Cain told her he had confided to colleagues how attractive she was and invited her to his corporate apartment outside work. She spoke on condition of anonymity, saying she feared retaliation. Cain's campaign declined to comment.

The drip-drip of news is continuing, including an on-the-record comment from a veteran GOP pollster saying he witnessed inappropriate behavior from Cain toward a woman at a restaurant in Virginia in the late 1990s.

3. Very true...
Many years ago (late 80's) I worked in a male dominated business. These are some of the things I heard on a daily basis...

I'd like to bend you over that desk and do what men do.

Funbags

Hooters

Nice ass

etc..

These kinds of things came from the top down. I didn't do anything--I'd heard horror stories about women who complained. I was very happy when I found another job.

2. "private invitation to his corporate apartment" = isolate the victim
classic. I wonder how she kept herself safe.

5. when I worked for a Fortune 500 corporation
they had company rooms at a high class hotel in Manhattan. Eat your heart out, Cain. Once when we had a major snowstorm, the VP I was working for said why go home? WE could stay at the hotel. Yeah, right. No thanks, I will take my chances with the snow instead. You would think they would have LEARNED their lessons from the 70s? Apparently, not.
