Herman Cain Accuser Will Not Go Public
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/11/herman-cain-accuser-will-not-go-public/

The woman at the center of a decade old alleged sexual harassment case against Herman Cain will not be going public now that the allegations have resurfaced, according to her attorney.

“She’s not going to affirmatively make any public statements or public appearances about the case, everything will be through me,” attorney Joel Bennett told the New York Times late Wednesday. “She has a life to live and a career, and she doesn’t want to become another Anita Hill.”

The woman in question was an employee at the National Restaurant Association while Cain was the trade group’s chief executive officer.

Bennett told the Times Wednesday that he will be issuing a proposed statement to the National Restaurant Association which will make clear that Cain’s recent statements about the 1999 incident contradict her version of events. The Association will need to agree that the statement will not violate the nondisclosure agreement signed by his client at the time.

4. Good guess
I would say yes...So how do they cover up the expense from the campaign funds? John Edwards got caught, but then Cain is a Republican..
..Hell yes she was paid off..

3. ONE Herman Cain Accuser Will Not Go Public.
It looks like there will be many more (I count five so far, and it's just been one or two days). This is clearly a pattern of offenses, indicative of Cain's basic (or base) character, not just one or two little mishaps. We will hear MUCH more about his cavalier attitude toward women in the coming days and weeks, assuming his campaign lasts that long.

Is it possible that this clown is worse than Palin? He's just as ignorant, that's for sure. Where do they GET these loons?

6. They would just be looking to discredit and trash her, she knows that--I don't blame her.
Her case was settled, why should she revisit it for Cain's potential benefit?

7. She's probably also bound by a confidential settlement agreement
If she identifies herself, she could be on the hook for paying back the settlement, plus interest. Unless the National Restaurant Association releases her from the confidentiality provision, the woman could be forced to pay everything back, and unlike Herman Cain, she probably doesn't have a year's salary just laying around to give back to the NRA for its shabby treatment of her all those years ago.

Which makes Cain's campaign manager's going on Fox yesterday to demand that she come forward all the more despicable.

8. Demanding that she come forward is indeed despicable, because they're looking
to "re-try" this case in the court of public opinion, and ruin her reputation. If Cain truly did nothing wrong, he certainly had an opportunity to go to court and prove it the first time around, and clear his name. Too late now--but it's 100% up to HIM to convince us that he isn't an old skirt-chasing lech--not the women who brought the complaints and accepted settlement. Their role is over.
