Flash: MSNBC HIRES Meghan McCain

:puke:

" It looks as though MSNBC has signed up a familiar new contributor. Via Johnny Dollar comes news that Meghan McCain, the daughter of Senator and former GOP Presidential candidate John McCain, has inked a deal with the network.

McCain made her official debut this morning to talk about the 2012 GOP field, where she said “I am very excited! I didn’t know it was going to be announced, but I am excited to join the MSNBC family”:

9. Jenna.
IIRC, she was a contributor for The Toady Show. I never watch that show, so I don't know whether she's still on.

12. Yep. Rachel seems to like her.
Hopefully, she will rub off on the kid. The more she is away from her father and his cronies, the better off she'll be. See: Ronald Reagan, Jr.

4. too bad her dad is a puke. She's pretty liberal on social issues.
I'm not sure what her views on everything are.... She seems more independent to me. Both her mother and her seem to be more democratic than Republican. She comes across as having a decent heart. Amazing since her dad is such a tool.

I saw her the other night. I wasn't impressed. Here we go with the real NEW Comcast lineup to mimic the force of Fox blond news readers. Ug, again.

6. I've got no issues with sensible republicans and she appears to be one of those
Differences are good things when not taken to extremes just to be contrary (like current House, Senate and Gubernatorial Repubs in office).

23. she isn't a liberal by any means
but she is capable of distinguishing fact from fiction, and in the modern Republican party that makes he an outcast.

17. She's still a Repub ... along with perpetual panel-guest Michael Steele ..
Edited on Thu Nov-03-11 07:55 AM by Myrina
... MSNBC continues its gradual shift to vault the prevailing dogma ("no such thing as class war, it's R vs D" ... which we all know is FALSE. It IS class war.) Rachel oughta bail, although I'm not sure she's radical-left enough for Current.

19. More Fun...
If you want a strictly liberal/left of center network I strong encourge people to support Current. They could use the viewers and ratings.

As far as MSNBC...I kinda like they suck up the rushpublicans the "conservatives" (great unhinged) don't like. While Mikey Steele remains obnoxious, he still will dump on the goofies and, like a broken clock, is right every once in a while. It was Meghan who first took on Mooselini as a fraud and isn't afraid to go after a Malkin or Coultergeist. I think it's a pretty good pick-up.

20. She is a sane GOPer --
I would rather have her voice on MSBCS than a Pat Buchannan.

There will always be a GOP/equivilent Party, folks. I would prefer that Party be filled with relatively sane people that can be worked with than the insane Bachmann variety.

21. Good, I Like Her
I don't agree with much of her politics but many of her comments about the Republican party as a whole are accurate (that the party has pretty much gone insane) and she seems to support a change in the direction that the Republicans are going (even further right); a move back towards the center.

So no hate from me for hiring Republicans who want the party to return to a more moderate version of it's past.

22. I don't mind her
I don't always agree with her but she is a more moderate Republican. I don't think *all* Republicans are inherently evil and though I may not agree completely I can see their point on some issues. She doesn't spew hatred and constantly leave me stunned and wondering "WTF?" like other Conservatives do. She's also nice to look at.
