Kucinich endorses GOP redistricting plan in Ohio that Dem party of OH is challenging
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich is trying to sway the Columbus battle over Ohio's congressional map by placing robo-calls that target legislators in Cleveland who will be voting on new district lines.

Over the weekend, Kucinich's campaign placed robo-calls that asked voters to urge state legislators including Lakewood's Nickie Antonio and Cleveland's Mike Foley to back a map that would include a congressional district based in western Cuyahoga County, which Kucinich currently represents.

Antonio said that several constituents who got Kucinich's robo-call contacted her office and suggested she support the GOP redistricting map, which she and Foley both opposed.

"I was surprised that my constituents were being encouraged to contact me by the Congressman," said Antonio. "I don't have a problem with it. My constituents know they can contact me, and they do, when they have an opinion about something."

Antonio said she voted against the map approved by the GOP-controlled legislature because she believes it does not fairly represent Democrats. That map would create 12 districts deemed safe for Republicans, and four for Democrats.

1. Because he has always been in it -- everything -- just for himself.

2. I don't understand. Kucinich always wins his old district by a total landslide.
Why would he support any GOP plan to redistrict?

The Cleveland Plain Dealer has a history of lying about Rep. Kucinich ever since he saved the city power company from being taken over by the banks.

I am more than skeptical of the accuracy of this article.

3. I believe it is because the Dems are the ones attempting to re-district Kucinich out of a job
This is my take but would like to hear from others.

4. I have to confess
This is really, really out of character. I may bang heads with Dennis, but I honestly smell some sort of Rat. Any Ohio voters out there have any insight?
