3. Agreed, I don't know how taking the strap to the daughter
in solidarity with the father could be seen as blameless.

5. No, but she was in an abusive situation herself
and she got her kids and herself out of the situation. It often takes a lot of courage to get out of a situation like that.

Hallie Adams said her in her interview, "for the entire four years since I've left the marriage, I've been abused and harassed through texts, e-mail Hallie said she told judge William Adams back in June that she would not speak to him again. She said of his response, "he has threatened to file for modification (of their child custody agreement) and take my younger daughter away from me." It seems the judge has not seen the error of his mental abuse on his ex-wife.

6. Even if she did not hit or give the strap to her husband
She is still an accomplice because she let it happen and did not try to stop it, or call the police and report it.

I read that he is a Family Court judge. How can he adjudicate child abuse cases when he himself is guilty of abuse?

7. So what details are you cognizant of. Many people think they know
more than they do.

Judge William Adams is a control freak. His wife is more than likely a victim also of is sickness.

8. I watched Thomas Roberts interview them. It appeared to me that the mother was only
concerned that she too was a victim. The daughter looked at her mother and the look on her face was like "Mom you selfish bastard".
That was my thought as well.

12. Well I think there is something to the battered wife syndrome -
folks who work in this area think that given the situation (and who knows what he was doing to the wife) that she shouldn't be seen in the same light. I don't know that I can totally excuse her but I would have a different punishment. Judge goes straight to jail (throw away the key), and wife goes to a mental institution for evaluation.
