Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann have a message for the Occupy Wall Street protesters: Forget the banks and focus your anger at the White House.

The two conservative favorites made their comments in separate appearances Thursday night in opposite parts of the country. While the two likely weren’t coordinated, they nonetheless both offered strikingly similar criticisms of the movement that has radiated out from New York City, suggesting that the protesters are mistakenly focusing their anger at Wall Street when in reality it is big government that they should be mad at.

"My question to the Occupy Wall Street crowd is, ‘Where have you been the last three years?'" Palin told a crowd of GOP donors in Florida, the Associated Press reports. "I suggest if they want to vent and want to change the situation, then they vent in the right direction. They need to hop on a bus and travel south — 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, where there's plenty of space to occupy."
