It is now official: Harder to get a job at McDonald's than to get into Harvard |
|
Harvard: http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2007/4/2/class-of-2011-admits-beat-lowest/This year fewer than 9 percent of applicants were accepted to the Class of 2011, according to figures the Admissions Office released on Thursday. Last year 9.3 percent were accepted. McDonald's: http://thinkprogress.org/special/2011/11/04/360500/chicago-trader-dumps-mcdonalds-applications-on-the-99-percent/McDonald’s recently hired just 60,000 workers out of 1 million applications they received.
Harvard = 9% of applicants admitted McDonald's = 6% of applicants hired
