7. We had one even closer last week...
but it was a little one. Looking good for the Northern Lights this weekend, too. Look North at night to see any aurorae that might happen.

Got to http://spaceweather.com for all sorts of good stuff like that.

I mean the gravitational pull of the earth should swing it a little closer to the moon, which in turn should curve the path a little more yet.

(I watch the Big Bang Theory which makes me smarter than most people.)
