4. Great - Cain quoted the lyrics of a song from the Pokemon Movie at the debate |
|
She played Herman Cain quoteing a "poem" at the Presidental Debate, and then played a song from the Pokeman Movie. They were the same word for word.

Rachel is brilliant tonight. For some time, I've thought that Cain was intentionally trying to sabotage his own campaign and noticing that the weirder he gets, the more the insane Republicans like him. But Rachel has put this together. Cain is goofing on the public. His campaign could be something Howard Stern would send a subordinate out to do, to see how stupid people are. Cain is laughing at the electorate and Rachel has shown how he's systematically doing it. W hat really convinces me is his last TV commercial, which has nothing to do about Cain, politics or any issue but just looks like someone shot some sort of improvised skit with bad actors who have no clue as to what they are doing.
What had me laughing out loud, besides the quotes of Cain that are directly from the Pokemon movie, but the quote from the Jackie Chan movie about the brother from another mother, just what Cain said today.
Rachel was brilliant and this is a must see, if it reruns later.

14. I cannot decide if Herman Cain, whose economic philosophy mirrors Sim City, |
|
his personal character derived from Pokemon, is a performance artist. Or maybe the Koch Bros are confident that all the party's efforts around the county will indeed lead to a Repubican victory, that their money will insure it is someone who believes as they do, their choice.
There are a couple things, such as unemployment, that could lead to a change, and I don't have to reach very far to believe that second scenario.
I was listening to an analysis the other night, and the Republican selection for a candidate is such that ANY of those people could potentially become the chosen one if they don't publicly drop out first. All they have to do is survive a year. Also that Cain is seen as "real" conservative, perfectly willing to carve up all that has been done, not a "beltway" conservative, (interview on NPR with Richard Viguerie and another guy). If anyone in the party can get inside that cold, dark, empty space that these people, for whom the world can't be mean enough for anyone other than them call a heart, it is Herman Cain. A lot of people are watching Romney, but Cain may not CARE about the legal problems in his past and his campaign, because there is a plan to put him in place as a mouthpiece.
prob'ly not, though. but yeah, that was funny...
