When Rachel was interviewing Lemony Snicket, what did she say
she was experimenting with now that she was 38?

Anyone hear?

4. Think she was trying to move on from the awkward moment of the interview
The guy was talking about being in a pool and another guy (big donor for the building housing the pool) wouldn't share a lap lane because "I'm a big donor"...so she jokingly replied that she would have pinched the big donor.
That is when the moment got awkward cuz the guest said how he tries to avoid pinching men in pools because "well, you know...what you and I have in common"..he was trying to make a joking reference to himself being gay and he tried to bring her orientation into the "joke" by saying something like "you know, we have that in common"...as in "we are both GAY!".
Really awkward moment thanks to the guest. She seemed like she was trying to move on and the guest said something like "well, you know, young people like to experiment..." and that is when she said back "or when you are 38 you want to experiment". I'm paraphrasing from memory as I watched it a few hours ago.
Basically, she was trying to move the moment PAST them and he kept trying to keep it going.

5. Thanks. I remember the pool part, but I got distracted during that "in common"
part of it. I only heard her "experiment at 38" and wondered what I missed.

You explained it!
