A little bit of everything

On edit, the magazine keeps me so informed, I was able to respond forty-five minutes before you even posted your thread. Weird!

6. This may sound odd...but.
I actually recommend a book review magazine, the New York Review of Books. They talk a lot about politics today and the books are often very interesting.

I think Elizabeth Drew writes for them, and she's damn good.

Maybe your library has it, and you can have a look. I really enjoy it.

8. Well, not ONE but here is a link I use a lot:
http://www.usnpl.com/

All the papers for each state. Always fun to pick a state and see the news from all the towns, always something cool you won't see elsewhere.

13. I read a wide variety of sources on my smartphone
Newsweek, CNN, MSNBC, yes, even the Wall Street Journal, Faux Snooze, and Politico, too. It's always good to know what the other side thinks.

Paper magazines? My last subscription was to US News and World Reports, started reading them about forty years ago, and they've morphed into a total joke over the last few years. I let them lapse about a year or so ago, I was tired of just getting the once a month "Best Colleges" or "Best Hospitals" issues they were doing just to whore advertisng bucks from those two industries.

It's too bad. I actually knew the capital of Uzbecki-uzbecki-uzbecki-stan once upon a time.

15. The Economist. A European take on the political economy of the world.
I used to read it religiously but have been taking a break from it for the last few years.
