I decided to visit the zoo today. I left the Zoo and headed back toward dowtown just in time to run into the crowd leaving the Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium (the Colts lost). There were cops everywhere dealing with the traffic. As I turned the corner around the State House, I waved at a few stalwarts from Occupy Indy, who received a few snide comments from the disgruntled Colts fans passing by. As I approached the bus stop, there was a drunk sitting there with bottle of Jim Beam in one hand and a bottle of Smirnoff in the other. I gave a kisd 75 cents to catch the bus. Now back in Terre Haute, this would have been just another gray, boring Sunday afternoon.
