Post here to say Dem local government types should never move against the Occupy communities

It's simple...the people against the "Occupy" movement are on the other side...not only from the Occupiers...but from YOU.

They don't agree with you on anything. They will never vote for you. There's no reason to try to appease the "law and order" types-especially since more and more people who USED to be "law and order" types are now getting it that the system is screwing THEM over.

Be on the side of the future...or at least get the hell out of the way...

This isn't asking too much.

No Democratic mayor should EVER sic the cops on the Occupiers. No more tear gas, no bayonets, no beatings. And no looking the other way when the Polizei refuse to allow arrested Occupiers get medical attention.

Got that, Rahm?

Got that, Jean Quan, "progressive" mayor of Oakland?

Got that, anyone else who is in local power and calls themselves "Democrats"?

I don't know anything about his family dynamics, so I can easily be way off. But many people develop a worldview based on rejecting their family's beliefs, either adopting them or rejecting them. He strikes me as a man who seeks power for personal benefit, not necessarily for the good of humanity.
