The last I read, the Oakland PD beat the shit out of another veteran, then, after they had ruptured his spleen, left him lying on a jail cell floor for about 18 hours without medical attention. Now, I've never had a ruptured spleen but I imagine it hurts like hell. I have had Kidney stones and I have never experienced such pain in my life. The point is that this is torture. The same torture that John Yu and Dick Cheney and that stupid motherfucker GW thought was just fine for folks "over there".

Some of us knew that if torture was O.K. to use on "Them" It was only a matter of time before it was O.K. to use it on us. Welcome to the corporate police state kiddies.
