instead of pursuing policies that enrich the rich and leave a mess for the rest of us - and then to add insult to injury - start "tweaking" safety nets that will require people, if retirement is even going to be an option in the future - so set aside 1000s more a year (and in this economy where are we going to find those extra dollars) to make up for the lower benefits (or vouchers ala medicare?)

How about doing something about jobs - instead of voting on "In God We Trust" while there are four unemployed applicants for every single open job.

Speaker Boehner, I would agree that perhaps servants is the wrong word. However I would chose a much stronger word that would suggest trading ... er... favors for money. That seems to be a more appropriate analogy.
