Ohio State GOP Rep. Suggests Cutting Democrats’ Pay, Says Republicans Actually Earn Their Money
As the vote approaches in regards to Ohio’s anti-union law, an Ohio Republican thinks it is time to cut the pay of Democrats. During an appearance on public radio, the Ohio State Rep. Lou Blessing (R) responded to a question about why public employees need to sacrifice while state legislators sacrifice nothing.

“Because it’s not merited. I earn my pay. I think that was just political baloney. So they can say in an ad, ‘Gee, you know, they didn’t support a pay cut.’ Well, no, I don’t support a pay cut. Republicans earn their money. Apparently Democrats don’t. They feel they should be paid less. That may be true. Maybe we’ll just cut the Democrats’ pay.”

So it appears that Republicans are preparing to slash paychecks that go to Democratic lawmakers but not their own. If this occurs, Republicans will have escalated their war against Democrats. Republicans are also being incredibly selfish and arrogant. They actually believe they are earning their pay by destroying our society. These lunatics have governed long enough. It’s time for them to go.
