Herman Cain says "ain't gonna happen" when commenting that he was not going to withdraw from the race. He blamed the rumors and accusations on the "Democrat machine".
As a Democrat, I hope he stays in the race until the end. I hope he is the nominee. This is not a "Democrat" problem - this is a Republican problem. Even the women that accuse him are Republican. Democrats should be pleased to see Herman Cain as the candidate.

It must come from the people. That is why Occupy America is so important. The people are coming together.

With any luck, Cain'll persist through to the convention, convince hordes of GOP donors that he has a shot at the nom, and be a significant drag on fundraising for Mittens and Perry.

We were soooo careful, too! But Herman Cain sussed it out somehow and has properly fixed blame on the Democrat machine. Yes, we knew, KNEW back in 1997 and 1998 that one day Herman Cain would be raised up from the Republicans to champion party values and become the front-runner in 2012. The only possible way to derail this juggernaut of a candidate was to hang a few bimbos on him, and totally compromise his moral standing. Oh, we were soooo close. So very, very close.
Who talked? Who spilled the beans on our brilliant plan? It was Lieberman, wasn't it? Or maybe Zell Miller? Somebody squealed on us, and we'll find him. I swear it.
