(Another scare tactic) Dobson: U.S. in ‘trouble with God’ if Obama reelected
Source: Raw Story
By Andrew Jones

In video released Tuesday morning from a secret religious right-wing event titled “One Nation Under God,” Focus on the Family founder James Dobson warned Americans that if they don’t vote right-wing in 2012, they’ll be in “serious trouble” with God.

“I am most concerned about the dift away from Christian principles,” Dobson said at the media embargoed event held in late October. “Are we going to continue to honor God with the holy living that he continues to prescribe to us? If we don’t, we are in serious trouble. And right now, I think we are.”

The controversial evangelist added: “I happen to see this particular election cycle as absolutely critical. We’re going to find out pretty quick which direction we’re going. And if it’s going to be as it was in the past, I hate to say it, but we deserve what’s coming to us.”

In 2009, Dobson resigned from Focus on the Family, citing that the organization needed to be placed in the hands of a younger generation.

4. Dobson really needs to stay on his medication and get some rest
in a nice rubber room, where he can't hurt himself, or anyone else.

11. Global climate change will now be re-labelled as "Gods wrath for electing Democrats!"
Voila! Global climate change deniers can now "plausibly" (cough) embrace it as gawds vengeance.

Mark my words, that's how the deniers are going to come around to embracing it (while still not doing anything about it cuz it's gawds will and all...)

12. "One Nation Under God," huh?
Keep going on that pledge there, boys. If you'll recall (after your two favorite words added as an afterthought in the 1950s), the pledge concludes "with liberty and justice for all." Are you familiar with that "justice" concept? Is the seriously out-of-whack system we currently have, gifted to us by the Republicans over the last 30 years or so, really what you would call "justice"? How do you square the horrendously disproportionate distribution of this nation's wealth with the "justice" that Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micah, Amos, Jesus and Paul talked about in the Bible? Are the workers not worth their wage? Is the wealth created by labor to be taken away from them in a "just" system? And what do you see as the greater threat to the United States? It's been a long time brewing, but that cauldron of trickle-down trouble has at last poisoned our country, perhaps beyond cure.
