Wow! The Ohio county I grew up in went 3-2 against SB-5!! It is the first
time I can remember in the last 40 years that we went against the Republicans. This is incredible. Thank you to all the folks that are still there!

1. I think it was tenacity of Wisconsin and then the Occupy movement that made people pay attention. nt

3. No....this was
all Kashit and all OHIO. The Teachers, Fire, Police, Nurses, etc. are our neighbors. They are working people and didn't go into those occupations to become rich.

I finally get to be proud of the state I live in....for a 'change.'

Fucking our hard-working neighbors got our attention.

6. Oh, yes, they get the credit for working hard and doing the right thing.
I'm kind of caught up in this new "age of enlightenment" and want to have hope for all of America.

4. My county split 50-50, which is pretty amazing, too.

8. It was amazing to me to see my county go the way it did.
We had Oxley as our rep since the early 80's, until he "retired" a couple years back.

9. I used to live in Oxley's district.
Shelby County. Would you believe his replacement is even worse? Some ex high school state wrestling champ. He's untouchable for the next 20-some years.
