any news from Alaska re: weather?

I can't imagine going through a storm from the Bering sea.

1. I'm keeping a close eye on it.

I'm really worried for the people out there, especially the ones in the small villages. They live in little wooden houses, some of them on stilts. They've already suffered a lot of erosion from the climate change.

The words that really bother me are: "This will be an extremely dangerous and life threatening storm of an epic magnitude rarely experienced," the service said in a special warning message.



This is basically a monster hurricane with snow.



If you check my avatar, the affected area runs from that peninsula at the top left all the way down through the Aleutians. BIG storm.
