"Battle Hymn" for Palin included racial slur. |
|
We all had a nice laugh over the "Battle Hymn" for Sarah Palin, but the more closely you listen to it, the more sickening it becomes. More than once, the "singers" refer to Palin "hunting skunks". Commenters on "Progressive Alaska" and youtube pointed out that the word is sometimes used to describe people of biracial parentage. In this case, I don't think it is far fetched to say referred to the president.

Perhaps some of her supporters would be that uncouth, but Todd Palin is part native American. I would like to think Sarah doesn't go in for that kind of thing if for no other reason than that. I've got enough things against her already.

But I don't think she had a part in writing it.

4. Probably the only word they could come up with that rhymed with "bunk". |

We'll never know what the intent was.
