I'm soaking up these victories like the unseasonably warm November |
|
sun here in NH but I am also mindful that a year in politics is an eternity. So far, the lessons I've taken from these elections are:
- people do vote their pocketbooks
- working class folks, both public and private, will not be pitted against eachother
- ideology, religious or otherwise, will not trump practicality...food on the table, a good, affordable education for the kids and a decent retirement
- an effective GOTV is key
Those are just a few of my thoughts this morning. Anyone care to add more?

1. I'll be heading out to enjoy the |
|
sun & warmth today myself.
The lovely 'blueness' just points up the need for everyone to get out there and vote.

2. And you're a regular poet, I say |
|
Nice use of imagery in your metaphor

3. Thanks, but the sun is streaming in my wondow as I'm sitting here |
|
and it's 60 degrees. This is after 2 1/2 feet of snow 2 weeks ago...hard not to wax poetic!
