and it indicates that the test is on Friday, at 11:00 am PST.

I thought it was rather weird to see them do a(n) EAS at 11:00 am on 11/11/11.

I'm really tired of sloppy journalism. I guess today at 11:00 am, we will find out which news medium is the most accurate.

24. I checked the paper - it just says 2:00, not time-zone specific or uniform.

Since it is past 2:00 here, it must have already happened in my area and either did or did not happen in other time zones, which of course will determine whether it is in the past or going to happen in the future in said time zones. I didn't have any form of broadcast on anyway.

which is what, one minute? Their excuse has been that the reason is because the message won't be visible, or some such thing,
so they wanted to be sure people understood it was just a test. Huh? Why don't they just make the message visible? Wouldn't that be cheaper
and easier? Anyway, the whole thing just seems odd. Oh well, it will be over shortly.
