He was in office for 8 years and we've had 3 years to further evaluated the damage he did. Surely you don't need our help in coming up with a list.

7. Because he proved H.L. Mencken right...again. |
|
“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.” - H.L. Mencken

10. 1. He slashed taxes saying more jobs would be created. |
|
Clinton created 23 million jobs at a higher tax rate. Bush created 1 million jobs at a lower tax rate. The US was losing jobs at an unprecedented rate when he left.
2. He lied about the Iraq war.
3. He brought destruction to Iraq.
4. He was not elected.
5. He tried to kill SS.
6. He did not monitor Wall Street, but let them go away with murder.
7. He preached the "ownership" society; but helped create the "dis-ownership" society.
8. His medical savings accounts were a joke.
9. He let Cheney run the show.
10. The entire world is worse off thanks to his bullshit policies.

1. Arrogant and stupid enough to think he could actually be President. 2. The inhaling snicker. (Ehh ehh ehh! 3. The smirk. 4. He walks like he's got a load in his pants. 5. Like a small subset of his fellow Ivy Leaguers who never deserved the diploma handed to them, he was born on Third Base and thought he hit a Triple. 6. His perfectly dreadful Rick Perry impression. 7. The fact that he (the pilot, no less!) didn't understand that you undo the parachute straps between your legs when you get off the plane. 8. He doesn't like horses. The creep. 9. But most of all, the endless, soul-destroying wars he's put us into.

27. And I figure that the same GOP neocon folks who picked "Bush the lessor" ... |
|
told Bush that Cheney was a great man.
I hate Cheney more than Bush.
Cheney cut his teeth under Nixon during the Watergate scandal. And what Cheney learned was that loyalty is everything. The ends justify the means, and the way to ensure that no one ever talks, is to make sure that everyone on the inside is protected from legal action.
Probably why Cheney was pissed that Bush didn't pardon Scooter. Cheney had told all his folks that no matter what, they'd be taken care of, so long as they kept their mouths shut. A full pardon is what Cheney wanted, but when that didn't happen, he had to reach out to right wing think tanks so that Scooter would never have to actually work ever again.

1. Lied to the American people about the affordability and income distribution of his tax cuts. Counted multi-millionaires as "small-businesses".
2. Lied to the American people in order to start a war of choice with Iraq. Thousands of Americans died. Needlessly.
3. Lied to the American people about the cost of his unfunded Medicare Part D plan. Refused to allow the federal government to bargain with pharmaceutical companies like every other government in the free world.
4. Having started the war on false pretenses, mismanaged the hell out of the Iraq War. Apparently believed his own bullshit about fighting this war on the cheap.
5. Attempted to partially privatize Social Security.
6. His pro-corporate and anti-regulation stance contributed to the near-meltdown of the entire national economy in 2008.
7. His opposition to health reform meant the government stood idly by while millions lost their health insurance during his two terms.
8. His arrogance on the international stage was an embarrassment to me as an American. Freedom fries indeed.
9. His attempts to use dog-whistle terms for the religious right, like "crusade" and "wonder-working power" were insulting to me as a Christian.
10. His frat-boy condescending attitude just pissed me off. I do not want to have a beer with him.

That should be enough.
On a personal note I find his personality revolting and his family even more revolting.

1) Lied us into a war in Iraq.
2) Mission Accomplished
3) Sam Alito and John Roberts to supreme court
4) Sanctioned torture as an appropriate ... even a primary way to gather intelligence
5) The deficit he created by cutting taxes on the rich while spending a fortune on 2 wars
6) Shifted the economy away from Information Technology, back to Oil and Military
7) He, and his administration, systematically appointed people who had no idea what they were doing, to every agency that they could ... DOJ, EPA, FEMA, all over the place. This was done to help ensure that regulations that were already on the books could not and would not be enforced.
8) Dick Cheney ... nuff said.
9) The Bush administration, via Condi, pushed Richard Clarke and his anti-terrorism unit way down the priority list. Clarke's team had been providing Clinton regular briefings on Al Qaeda. The Bush administration decided that Iraq was a larger threat. BTW ... this occurred long before 9/11. The Bush administration never saw Al Qaeda as a serious threat which is also why they ignored the PDB of August 6th 2001.
10) His foreign policy efforts were a joke. Not just his Iraq distraction, but every single thing he touched on foreign policy was a failure. He damaged our relationship with pretty much every other country on the planet.
That's a quick off the top of my head list. Hope it helps.
