None of the news outlets that I've checked list party affiliations. I'd love to be able to see just how Dems did vs the Pugs.

1. You can't...
You can look up Party affiliation, but how would they know whether a specific vote was cast by a Republican, Democrat or Independent?

2. I simply want to know which CANDIDATE was democrat and which was republican
They always used to list the party affiliation of the candidate, but for some reason they're not doing it this year. Strange...

7. Here...

Some races have Party Id; some don't (some communities probably have non-partisan elections)

3. The best place to look for all the data is
at the NC State Board of Elections web site:
http://www.sboe.state.nc.us/

There is a link to the results on the front page right now.

4. Thanks
Very few of the elections list the party of the candidate, even on this site. I did see from the ones that did have party affiliation listed that most of those listed as Dems won. And straight party voters were overwhelmingly Democrats.

Looks good for the Dems next year.
