2. Huntsman will be served up on a big money platter in 2012. He'll be the GOP Clinton.
Of course, he's a scumbucket repuke, but he doesn't seem to have the crazy or the stupid like the others.

16. He needs republican votes in their primary. The money won't help him; he needs to say he is a
creationist, that he doesn't believe in them science things, that he is really not a Mormon, that he is sorry he worked in the Obama administration, that he hates gays, immigrants and anyone not white and a Christian. Then he could get some votes. Crazy rules now.

19. Hmm, yeah. There's only one thing he can do. The Republican Party will
have to fund him (in a Citizens Unitedy way, super secret) as an Independent. Once he's elected (in their design), he converts to Republican.

3. It is an odd thiing to argue
It's like arguing 4 years ago that the general election will be a matchup between Duncan Hunter and Mike Gravel.

10. I think Mike Gravel is now doing ads for Herman Cain

I'd recognize his auteur-ship anywhere.

No, re Huntsman, there's not enough GOP l-o-v-e and too much h-a-t-e.

5. I still think he's the nominee if Romney sinks.
He's STILL a Bush family made man.

7. I don't know why the GOP would trade one Mormon they don't trust
for another Mormon they don't trust who has less money, name recognition and support. Huntsman simply fails to make an impression. He's cardboard.

11. I don't know how anybody who even has a small clue about the
GOP base could ever believe Huntsman has a prayer of making it out of GOP the primaries.

13. Huntsman is much, much too sane for the Rethugs.
There's no way in hell he'll be the nominee. He believes in Climate Change. Enough said.

14. IMO he is the ONLY one that could even give Obama a run for the money
He is actually sane whereas the very great majority of Republicans lost their sanity years ago..

15. Could be, Huntsman is playing Rope-a-Dope while the others punch themselves out
That, or he simply can't find the crank for his political machine.

17. Even if he tries, where will he get the votes? Certainly not teabaggers who run the party now.
