Freepers are using this quote from Obama to fund raise, because it's apparently horrible.
"It was the labor movement that helped secure so much of what we take for granted today.

The 40-hour work week, the minimum wage, family leave, health insurance, Social Security, Medicare, retirement plans.

The cornerstones of the middle-class security all bear the union label."

~Barack Obama

Fucking idiots.

9. So they want all those things to go away?
Why? Are they the 1%? If not - why do they want to work in horrible conditions for subsistence money, if that, for the rest of their lives, and for their children to work too?

Of course they do.

And then when those horrible working conditions return and poverty skyrockets even more, they'll blame the liberals and Democrats.

13. nothing a republican, teabagger or conservative
likes more than seeing "the other guy" take a pay cut. It is almost pathological how much they enjoy seeing salaries and benefits go down.

19. Freeper logic: You have a cow. I don't. I hope your cow dies.
Rather than pulling the masses up to a better living standard, the freeper would rather pull everyone down to wallow in their mire.

15. They are ridiculous.
Unions have been reduced to mere shells of their former selves, and it's certainly not a fucking coincidence that workers have seen so much taken away from them IN TANDEM with the decline of unions.

So.......

Now that teachers' and firefighters' unions are under attack what is the logical outcome based on the past few decades? Freepers, would you like to buy a vowel??!

It is such a damn shame that it seems we're going to have to reduce even more of our pay and benefits because so many working class Americans have been brainwashed by the Capitalists. Apparently we'll have to go through another entire labor movement after they've finished gutting the remnants of what's currently left. Eventually, after everyone has lost everything except those at the top, even FREEPERS will know we have to band together to demand certain things from the "job creators". They're not going to give it willingly, and standing up for yourself in your place of employment without union and labor protections is a one way ticket to the unemployment line for too many. Don't kid yourselves FREEPERS, the "job creators" LOVE high unemployment. It makes their current worker bees ever so much more docile.

Fall in line workers of the world, your owners demand it! <---- Fuck That!

25. If you're referring to Jimbob's site...they are getting a bit desperate.
Day #40 of his begathon, and it's only at 84%. How will they ever go on without reaching their projected quarterly goal of $88,000?

Will Jim be able to continue his lifestyle at the expense of the drooling morans? Will any of the idiots there ever question where the money really goes? Will the outdated site ever catch up to the 90's technology? And, someday in the future, will they get a spell check function?

Stay tuned...
