Just thought I would share some information about this group. I first heard about them from my dad who got a letter from them endorsing Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker, who they gave an A+ for standing up to seniors. My dad was pissed, he called it nothing but propaganda to manipulate old people. The letter says Alexander and Corker want to save Medicare part D, but like my dad said they want to end Social Security and Medicare and according to AARP they are among the worst senators on these issues. After hearing this I did a little research and it turns out that Retiresafe is a project of the of the Council for Government Reform, formerly the Council for Privatization. Hopefully this will help you all if any of your friends or family gets information from this group. Here are some of the polices Retiresafe supports:



Social Security - "Personal Retirement Accounts allowing individual choice, control and ownership"
Health Security - "Free market Medicare including prescription drug coverage" and "Medical Savings Accounts"
