Pull the damned bandaid off
Edited on Wed Nov-09-11 06:45 PM by SoCalDem
It should be obvious by now the the aggregate "money-owed" is far larger than "money-available", and it's time to just rip the bandaid off, bleed ....... and start over.

Sure, it will mean that "some" people might be "rewarded" for being profligate, and greedy, but it's time to stop the drip-drip-drip.

Let the gamblers lose.

we need a re-boot..a rewind..a reset..whatever

The "market" needs to be completely restructured and stripped of its casino status.. we need a transaction fee for every trade/transaction

We need a 401-k option where the bosses match money that goes into a SAVINGS account at the bank of your choice (not everyone wants to gamble)

Banks need to be broken up and re-set to SERVE their customers

Insurance companies need to be reset as not-for-profit entities who collect premiums, and use that money to pay claims.,.,not enrich CEOs

Any parent can tell you that it's always better to just lay it all out..up front and deal with "whatever"..in its entirety...not dribbled out , a droplet at a time.

The time of running governmental economics like people frantically using Payday loans & credit card balance transfers is OVER.
