The Second Place Loser In the Stealth Race Is Having More Problems With Their Expensive Toy
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (DoD? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.
To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: More about this useless POS. BTW, the brain bucket (that doesn't work all that well) costs around $250,000.

An F-35B Joint Strike Fighter descends to a vertical landing at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md., on Jan. 6. A report says more problems have been found with the F-35 program, but officials say they are well on their way to fixing the issues.

Nothing a few hundred billion can't fix.

Very impressive landing, for those who've never seen a Harrier or a helicopter do-oo-oo-oo-oo it.

4. Why don't they get that kid with the free Apple "Bubble Ball" app that beat out "Angry Birds" to
help?
.....
At least the jet would work. Not to mention be more fun to fly.

5. You mean the first place loser or did you mean third?
I still am dismayed at the military announcing they were 'surprised' at how fast China is building a stealth fighter. We spend 800 billion dollars on what again...oh right, the pleasure to be surpised (and not in a good way). :eyes:

Quick, someone pay ME 800 billion dollars! I bet I could do a better job (at spending the money).
