Get them invisible people out of here...homeless that is. This is the true health and safety violation.

2. sounds like that is what the city is helping us do
They are making it fairly clear that the problems are coming from the criminal homeless element which has been gravitating there since the beginning. Occupiers have a really good relationship with the mayor, he's been taking huge flack from the anti-occupiers, but he still seems to be on our side.

A lot of his term has been focused on improving services and shelter for the homeless here, one of the few things I like about him.

5. 30 floors up, but I don't see much happening
Our building overlooks those squares. There's some people moving around, but I don't see any coordinated effort to clear the squares. It's a very nice November day, so if this is a legitimate offer to the Occupiers, it would be a good day to do this. The sense I've gotten is that that Occupy sites have become criminal hideouts, which doesn't do the movement any good. While I'm sympathetic to the Occupiers, they need to exercise better control on who's in there for the cause and who's using it as base for criminal activity.
