2. I'm still cheering for Rick Perry |
|
Although I do believe the stupid fucker is going to cost me money. I got some bets going that he would be the repuke nominee but oh no. Stupid had to open his fucking mouth over and over. All he had to do is stand there with his perfect hair and do what his handlers said but no. That was too complicated for him...

3. I like the snake handlers music. I don't know what the words are but they |

could make a country music hit album. I know it is fun to laugh at them but they can have some good qualities.
We use to have a small ranch in the boonies in open range cattle country. There weren't any sake handlers only horse and cow people. But they had much in common with the snake handlers. I never locked my door at night the whole time I lived there (6 years)and the people were the most generous people I have ever met. If someone needed money in the community they put a flier in your mail box advertising a pot luck dinner. You were suppose to bring a dish to share and it cost about $10. All the money raised went to the needy person. They waved high to anyone who passed on the road. If you were driving down the road the driver of the car coming at you waved hi to you. The first time it happens to you, you ask "do I know that person or are they mistaking me for someone?" We had karaoke every Saturday night at the general store restaurant in an old one room school house.
Yes they all were right wing nut jobs but I sure as hell would rather have them for neighbors than some neighbors I've had or now have.
I think that they don't get much other input into the community and if you don't think like they do they are suspicious and afraid. It is a through back to older times. Generations have lived there and pass things on down. Some live off the grid so you would be proud of that, it's super green.
Yes they vote against their best interests and ours but if we could take the good from each of us and make a society out of it, that would be great.

5. I know most of them probably mean well, but I wish they'd wise up. |
|
The GOPers use them to the max and never do anything for them in return. Blow up the mountains and roll boulders down over their houses and they still turn out and vote for the corporate toady that lies the best.

always talked politics to me. He assumed I agreed with him which I didn't. I never discussed it with him, just changed the subject. The reason they do that is to see if you are a part of the group or an outsider. They might not even know what they are talking about but it was important that everyone thought alike, it made them feel more secure. I know it makes little sense to us but think that we all here think alike or we think someone is an outsider if they don't. It is the same mechanics but different points of view.

4. They'd NEVER vote for Obama, because the preacher told them that |
|
"Obama's A Heathen Muslim"
A preacher who tells people how to vote shouldn't be tax exempt, but these preachers sneak around and campaign from the pulpit. They visit homes and advise people that they shouldn't vote for Obama, "because Obama's a Muslim." They are not only lying to people who trust a preacher to tell the truth, they are undermining the Commander in Chief, while our soldiers fight and die abroad.
Do I respect people like these? No. Do I feel sorry for people like these? No. Should I forgive, or simply ignore people like these? Not even hardly.
I have talked to some of these people and they will swear on their Bibles, that Mr. Obama is a Muslim. No wonder Rick Perry wants to do away with education.

6. If american voters had any capacity for rational thought... |

... as a Democrat, I'd cheer 'em like the dickens. Mitt is the only one who isn't completely crazy - he's just evil and wrong.

Clearly, only some militant redneck would still vote for someone as ignorant as Perry.

All of us here know that those rednecks down south will still vote for him just because he's from texas. Of course they all worship him as the third coming of Bush. He'll never get elected tho.
