Jack Abramoff was on Laurence O'D last night. At first I thought
it was going to be a legitimate interview but as I watched O'D throw out questions and not follow up after Abramoff continued to forgive himself for what he did, I realized that Abramoff was there plugging his book and L O'D was enabling it. I've about had it with this book whoring stuff.

2. It's that corporate book promotion thingy. The late night hows are the same
for everyone. If a personality is appearing on any of the shows they are promoting either a book, a movie or a tv show.

4. It's why I consider MSNBC to be sham, tricking progressives. The hosts are all neutered, while...
They continue to put these RW crooks and kooks, no matter how bad they've been or how wrong they've been proven, on the air. They give them and their poisonous ideologies legitimacy, money for their appearance and face time.

They make crony capitalism, corruption, corporatism, bigotry and war seem to be the normal way of the world. They will allow 'liberals' and 'progressives' to vent and push social change but when it gets down to it they serve their corporate masters only.

5. Yeah. That was a real puff interview by LO. Abramoff even put out some
stuff that I think he was expecting to get challenged on, but LO didn't ask him a single follow-up question. Seemed a bit odd to me, as I have seen him skewer others who have not answered his questions to his satisfaction.

6. I did see that MSNBC refused to let Pat Buchanan pimp his book on their air
My wife who watches MSNBC fairly often noticed his absence from network shows and remarked on it.

Within a day I saw a post here on DU to the effect that whoever handles these things deemed that certain passages in the book were too racist for them to give him any help selling it.

Haven't heard anything to indicate they have severed relations with bigot boy, just that he can't plug his stupid book on their shows.

7. Without much fanfare I believe Uncle Pat is gone from M$NBC. Read
that the other day at HP. No big deal about it, he just won't be returning. Our e-mails may have helped in this..
