I think Ron Paul put a spell on Rick Perry...
Edited on Thu Nov-10-11 05:23 PM by kentuck
It was like a scene out of Men in Black. Perry was on a roll. He started to name the 3 programs that he was going to cut and after he had named two of them, he looked over at Ron Paul, just to his left. As soon he looked at Paul, his mind went blank. I didn't notice whether or not Paul was holding up some small black gadget to make him forget everything that just happened?

Whether Ron Paul put a hex on him or not, he showed he was not ready for prime time. If you plan on spouting off lists of things you are going to do, it is best to be prepared. If you cannot remember those items, it is best to write down some notes. Even initials, such as E.C.E., might help one to remember the 3 Departments you are going to cut when you stagger into Washington?

If it wasn't Ron Paul and it wasn't liquor, then it may been the effects of medication. I had read that Perry had recently had back surgery and was taking Vicodin for the pain? That shit will make you forget your name sometimes. It's all a matter of judgement. Don't drink or take pills if you are going to a debate. And under no circumstances, do you look at Ron Paul...

3. Perry doesn't function well when he doesn't have a hand up his back
The same was true of Shrub which was why he used a radio during his debates.

5. LOL- check this out...it's better than that. When he looked to Paul for help on the 3, Paul...
...raised his hand with all five fingers extended and said "There were FIVE!" He totally mindfucked Perry even worse.

Someone pointed this out in a thread earlier and I looked it up. Check it out, it's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZlGPhntPaU">priceless.

8. Ron Paul had his hands in the air, gesturing
That was as Perry started counting off the departments he would eliminate ... one, two... two ... I thought Paul was trying to help Perry in encouraging him in what was an embarrassing moment. But maybe his hands were casting a spell. Maybe he has Christine O'Donnell on his staff as an advisor.

10. See my response #5- As Perry was groping for the third Paul held up his hand and...
...said "There were FIVE!" (that Perry'd cut)

In my response is a link to the video. Watch it. Priceless. Without touching him, Paul did something like tripping a drunk in regards to helping Perry.

like Sarah Palin.

Apparently he's not even that smart.

18. Really
Are you trying to tell me that Rick Perry should have written his whole debate talking point on his palm. Am sorry but Sarah Palin is still dumb even when compared to Perry. He had a brain freeze at the worst possible time. But then you can argue that is it something more than a mere brain freeze given his performance in the previous debates.

But no, its not a good idea to write all the possible answers for a 2hr debate on your palm and Sarah Palin is still the queen of dumb

And did you see that mesmerizing move Paul made at him and said "FIVE"? He was definitely casting a spell. After that, Perry couldn't even name two.

23. That has definitely crossed my mind
My mother fooled me for years by dissimulating her memory lapses. She would pretend she wasn't interested in what I was saying or that she didn't hear me.

Unfortunately she was good at it. It all made sense once she was diagnosed with Dementia. I've read since that the more intelligent a person is the more they hide the symptoms. I'm only saying my mother was an intellectual, not that Perry is intelligent.

26. you should know that Aricept slows dementia down a lot
If there's any way you can get him to a doctor to see if he has Dementia it will help everyone a great deal. There is medication that slows the onset a lot. My mother's doctor gave her Aricept that slowed the onset so much that five years later it had only progressed very little. After years of having Dementia she still knew us and understood what we said and was able to respond lucidly. There were obvious signs of loss of memory and loss of intellect, but basically she was the same person. She died of pancreatic cancer which had nothing to do with her mental capacity. She could have lived for many more years.

Your dad doesn't need to know if you talk to the doctor first.

Hopefully your dad is fine. But if you catch it early the medication will make a difference. I wish you good luck from the bottom of my heart.
