Report: Sandusky’s charges could extend to Texas
Posted by Ben Kercheval on November 10, 2011, 6:40 PM EST

The numerous counts of child sex charges against former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky could extend beyond the state of Pennsylvania.

In the 23-page grand jury indictment of Sandusky, “Victim 4″ alleges he was assaulted by Sandusky during the trip for the 1999 Alamo Bowl. That game, of course, would be Sandusky’s last with Penn State — a 24-0 shutout win over Texas A&M (pictured). According to the indictment, Victim 4 was listed as a member of Sandusky’s family party on trips to the 1998 Outback Bowl and 1998 Alamo Bowl, as Victim 4 had become “a fixture in the Sandusky household.”

Victim 4 alleges that when he resisted advances by Sandusky in Texas, that Sandusky threatened to send him home from the bowl. Victim 4 was also told by an “emotionally upset” Sandusky that the defensive coordinator would not be the successor to Joe Paterno in May of 1999, but was informed to keep it a secret.

Now, Sandusky could be facing criminal charges in San Antonio, according to an official police statement sent to 1200 WOAI.

2. That sounds like it should make it a federal crime more than just involving other states
Whatever they do, I hope they lock him back up soon. Why is that monster out of jail?

6. with the permission of the parent?
another thing i've noticed with these stories is the lack of a father figure for this boys. no fathers have spoken up, only mothers. i'm not blaming the parents, only noticing the coincidences here....

4. It is a Federal crime
specifically a violation of the Mann Act (transporting a minor across state lines for an "immoral purpose").

5. And if what that pervert was doing wasn't
an "immoral purpose" there is no such thing as one. This needs to go Federal and EVERYONE that was involved in covering this up needs to be investigated to find out just how much they knew and the extent of this crime.

9. I read in the newspaper this morning that the SA DA is considering charges
Since Sandusky appeared to have been taking his victims to away games, there could be many states placing him under investigation.
