1. Keeping Watch on this....remember Channel 2 is a Fox New affiliate

Not clear at all why somebody thought it was a good idea to beat-up a camera-guy from channel 7.

All the Occupy folks say that it had nothing to do with them, but the OCO peeps have been saying for over a week that with the city of Oakland turning off the street lights of the plaza area, has been helping to create a dangerous situation.

3. They don't seem to put a lot of political slant on stories

but I don't watch local news much. Channel 2 is known as the car accident/police channel.

4. Downtown Oakland is not a good place after dark

It's fine during the day because there are a lot of pedestrians and it's a major bus stop area and there's a BART station, but at night it's really creepy and scary there. Of course I'm not talking about the way it is now with the Occupy people there.

6. This shooting is becoming just the meme they needed to say the "Occupies" are dangerous and

have to go. I'm sure this is big news all over the country and the powers of the Babylon Bullshit will try to use it to declare the defeat of all the OWSs.
