Perry's campaign propped up by Bush camp?
Joe Allbaugh, the no-nonsense campaign manager for George W. Bush in 2000 who now runs an international security consulting firm, has quietly taken over the reins of the beleaguered campaign of Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Allbaugh was brought on with several GOP veterans a few weeks ago to help energize the Perry White House bid. He has now assumed the top manager’s slot, which was held before by Texan Rob Johnson.

Johnson, who ran Perry's last gubernatorial campaign but was new to national politics, will be traveling more with Perry in coming weeks, say Perry fundraisers and strategists.

Some indication that Perry might be the FOBush's pick.

I note that Perry sounds doped up just like Bush did. Hmm! Could it be that some of the same trainers are working in his stable?

2. From what I understand, most of the Bush people hate Perry's guts.
Including Rove. Perry was always just a convenient stooge to them, a guy stupid enough to make Bush look like the bright one, and they have no love for him.

3. That's what I've heard also,
that most Bushies want nothing to do with Perry, and vice-versa. Of course if Perry gets the nomination that could all change.

5. I think they are making Perry play their fool so that he will give up in disgrace and,
very angry, support Jeb. The Bush support is probably there to win him over -- because he probably will gain some delegates for the convention and then surprise the country with Jeb's nomination.

Sounds farfetched, but I am thinking that is probably the plan.

4. There's definitely no love lost betwixt Perry and the Bush family.
