Every man and woman that serves to defend this nation is a hero in my eyes. My son did a tour in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He endured things most Americans haven't so they never will have to. No, he didn't get a purple heart. HE didn't drag a fellow soldier to safety, either. But he served. He put himself in harms way for the good of his country. You might not think he is a hero, but he came back alive. That makes him a hero in my book , and many other's too. Go find another thread to pee on.
