Gunfire at two #Occupy camps in the same week.
Now...with Oakland LYING in writing about protesters throwing M-80s at police and that they didn't use rubber bullets and flash-bangs...and ON and ON and ON against them...with police infiltrators and NYPD sending drunks and druggies and the homeless to Zuccotti Park...who of course treat them far better than the cops ever would.

Is this coincidence? Or just another orchestrated attempt for TPTB to call off all encampments? "Creating causes and conditions"...they're dirty, there's sanitation issues, it's not safe, WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Unce...Tice...Fee times, it's Bloomberg...they say that once is a coincidence, twice is enemy action.

"Mayor" Quan has used the =unrelated= Oakland shooting as an excuse to demand an end to the encampment. This shooting of course is merely ANOTHER failure on the part of Oakland "authorities", not of the protesters.

1. Well you know water is wet
I recommend you read the US Army Counterinsurgency manual

http://www.fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm3-24.pdf

Nope, the tactics you are seeing are not that unfamiliar...

:-)

3. Judging from the pictures I have seen and the complaints about costs
the Occupy sites must be the most patrolled and monitored places in the country.

Occupy SF protester runs afoul of police again

A 23-year-old San Fernando Valley man cited for carrying a concealed semiautomatic handgun in the Occupy SF encampment Tuesday was arrested the next day for allegedly menacing a city park ranger inspecting the camp, police said.
