4. Done. Brown's silence has been, shall we say, deafening. I wrote |
|
to tell him unless he acts soon, I will not be voting for his re-election.

5. His silence is starting to accuse him of being a collaborator with the wealthy. nt |

6. Sad, but true. People forget that Brown was mayor of Oakland |
|
in 2003 when the OPD did the same thing to anti-war protesters at the Port of Oakland. So maybe Brown's silence isn't that surprising after all.

7. These silences are creating a larger and larger gap between those in power |
|
who truly wish to serve, and the ones who control the systems...it is beginning to crack, it is beginning to break :)

I know what Governor Brown will do with it. He's not mentioned WORD ONE about the police brutality in Oakland and San Diego (making people wait in vans, not letting them use restroom facilities). He's a good little Party Boy (vetoed the hemp legalization Bill) and would do nothing to upset the Party Bosses. He takes his marching orders from Das Party just like everyone else.

9. Somehow, I don't see this happening... |

Sadly, the last time I can recall the National Guard being called to a significant protest--was Kent State. So, somehow I don't have the faith that their presence would be to "protect" the protesters, but one can hope, I suppose.
