Grand jury reports Penn State's Sandusky took victim to Outback Bowl in Tampa
This has now become 'transporting a minor across state lines for sex'.

Grand jury reports Penn State's Sandusky took victim to Outback Bowl in Tampa

Nov 10, 2011 09:40 PM
St. Petersburg Times staff

TAMPA — In the months before his retirement in 1999, former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky traveled with "Victim 4" — a 12 or 13-year-old boy — to the Outback Bowl in Tampa, a grand jury reported.

In its report, a statewide grand jury in Pennsylvania concluded the victim had been "repeatedly" subjected to sexual assaults at a variety of locations, including "at bowl games to which he had traveled with Sandusky."

The grand jury reported that the boy had become a "fixture" in the Sandsuky household.

"Victim 4 was listed, along with Sandusky's wife, as a member of Sandusky's family party for the 1998 Outback Bowl," the grand jury found.

How could so many people look away from this, as the lives of these children were stolen?

There is a special place in hell for child rapists and their enablers.

11. This is the same "Victim 4" who Sandusky allegedly took to the Alamo Bowl as well.
Penn State child-sex probe widens to Texas

Police in San Antonio, Texas are investigating allegations that Jerry Sandusky molested a boy while on a 1998 team trip to the city, a spokesman said.

.....

According to the grand jury report, Sandusky brought the boy in question - identified as Victim 4 - along with his wife to the 1998 Outback Bowl and 1999 Alamo Bowl.

The child traveled to and from both bowl games with the football team and shared their accommodations, the report said. The teen reportedly told the grand jury that when he resisted Sandusky's advances while on that trip, the coach threatened to send him back to Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania prosecutors allege that Sandusky molested at least eight boys between the mid-1990's and 2009, all of whom he met through The Second Mile a charity he founded in 1997.

This monster should NOT be free on bail right now.

3. May he rot in prison.
If that was my son, I'd be the judge, jury, and executioner on this case, and damn the consequences.

5. Those tens of millions that Penn State makes every year on football?
They can kiss that shit goodbye. They need to be sued into the stone age.

6. Look forward to prison Mr. Sandusky--and the special way that inmates treat child molesters.

8. I would bet his retirement was because of allegations
From what I read about the time-line of this horrible story, his retirement came in 1999 after the first allegations of improper relationships with kids were made in 1998. I have trouble buying that a 55 year old guy at the height of his profession would suddenly retire just because he didn't get picked as "coach in waiting". Normally, a top assistant like that would be sniffing around for a head coaching job at 55, not retiring. My guess is that he was told to retire. Then he brings this kid to the bowl game and no one blinks an eye? It seems like people around him must have been looking the other way so much they would have had whiplash.

10. But we could't expect Penn State head coach to think anything about it
I figure they all knew back when Sandusky "retired" and they covered up and let it continue
