1. There's a forum here on streaming/Roku

What questions do you have? Not sure I have the answers, but I'll listen to your questions. :-)

4. what kind of news choices? I use Newscasters to watch Rachel Maddow.
They have NBC, CBS ABC, Al jazeera and even the channel that passes itself off as news... Faux. They have podcasts on the NBC one... NBC nightly news, Meet the Press, and others. I only watch Rachel Maddow... and she has no commercials.

There is Justin.tv for live feed. You may have to search for the channel though. It's not HD or anything. Don't know what else you are looking for.

5. Newscasters?
I hadn't heard of that and was examining what options there might be. The only thing I saw that could pass for progressive or non rightwing was Democracy Now!.

6. I find Nowhere TV is has much more than Newscasters

For example, Nowhere TV's category for Current has Keith Olberman's Countdown, whereas Newscasters' category for Current does not (last I checked, which was yesterday).

P.S. Nowhere Man is now also known as Roku employee "Roku Chris"
