Watch: Amazing Video of Penn State Student Talking Sense to His Angry Classmates

Watch: Amazing Video of Penn State Student Talking Sense to His Angry Classmates

The student riots over ousted Penn State football coach and child-rape-abettor Joe Paterno have drawn plenty of ire, and deservedly so. But one video from the fray has surfaced that might just warm your heart.

In the video, a young, unidentified man holds court before his classmates at a rally in support of Joe Paterno. Although his classmates are yelling and holding pro-Paterno signs, the student calmly explains why the Penn State student body should consider taking a different stand. He says, in part, "I love Joe Paterno just as much as you do, but we can't give him a fee ticket out of this. It sucks....As an institution and a part of this family, we must hold our leaders accountable. And the Paterno signs? We should get rid of them, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." You can tell that he gains some supporters by the end of the clip, while other students continue to boo him.

It is a shame that so many students are acting this way when you consider what has happened. Consider too those students who are part of OWS who are fighting for people's rights to survive.

2. Valiant effort on his part...
Sadly I think a lot of the sheep would rather just continue shouting him down rather than, as someone in the audience said, let the man speak.

5. I'd imagine the lynch mob is a very small portion of the campus...
But still, I really don't think Penn State needs to be playing football this Saturday.

8. About 4000 cultists among 40,000 students.
The way that they idolize Paterno seems very cult-like.

About playing the game Saturday, they should forfeit it but, no way, too much $$$ involved.
