Is it crazy to have big dreams in 2011??? Hopes and Dreams of a better future.

I've posted a number of forward-looking OPs about solutions to some of the problems I see as facing us: water shortage, food shortage, oil running out, sea level rise, stuff like that and all I get is 90% harassing non-posts and insults or arguments. Thank goodness for the few good comments I get or I'd stop posting altogether.

Am I crazy to want better for our future for the world and our nation or are the doomers and a-holes right?

2. No, you're not crazy! Some of us still have hope!

Although, I have to admit that sometimes I succumb to despair at the power of human greed, stupidity and just-plain-outright-cussedness. I think it's premature to give up hope; but, a positive future, or even human survival are not assured.

By the way, I have some ideas for articles I want to post in the near future. I'll send you a message when I do post.
