Today is 11-11-11, which means the HP disks are out for HP8. Question: what is the word on the best bargain for an eight disk collection set?

I just did a search on Amazon and it sounds like no one is too happy with the first offering because there isn't a whole lot of bells and whistles, I guess.

1. They say the extra's on DH2 are amazing but the box set
has nothing that wasn't on the individual DVD's... I'm just going to add DH2 to the collection, no need for dupes if they didn't include anything new..

2. A friend ordered the last 2 movies for me today on her Amazon Prime account.
DH Part 1 was $3.99 (yes, that's $3.99) and Part 2 was $13.99. Score! I don't really care so much about the bells and whistles, and I don't have Blu-Ray, so I got a really good deal.

Amazon has the box set for $49.00, I don't know if that's today only, but that's really great price.

5. Just clarify something for me, the only eight set collection is in blu ray. right?
Is nobody, including Target, selling an eight regular DVD set?

3. The usual advice
Wait. I just picked up the DVD for DH1 for $5, and blu-rays of the first 6 movies are going for $10.

Wait.

Unless you're a totally obsessed fan person, wait. The price will come down, the goods will be better. I regret purchasing the Star Wars boxed sets when they were introduced. I regret buying the full seasons of Babylon 5 when they were retailing for $50 or more, and now you can get them for $20 each.

Wait.

On edit: they're selling the regular DVDs for 49.00

Blu ray is still 79.
