Sandusky Home Borders Elementary-School Grounds; Administrative Action Taken
November 11, 2011 6:01 PM

The family home of Jerry Sandusky, accused of an extended pattern of child sexual abuse, borders the grounds of Lemont Elementary School, in College Township.

In light of that, school Principal Scott Deshong "has taken additional administrative action to ensure our children are safe," State College schools Superintendent Robert O'Donnell reported Friday.

"These measures have been in place throughout the week and will remain in place moving forward," O'Donnell wrote in an e-mail message to reporters.

He underscored that the State College Area School District communicates regularly with State College police -- and has been aware of the proximity of the Sandusky residence.

8. FYI, Sandusky's former daughter-in-law took out a restraining order
against Sandusky on behalf of her kids (Sandusky's grandchildren) early last week.

4. Teachers
Teachers who work in that school are going to have to handle how to discuss all this publicity with young children without frightening them.

The responsibility that falls on the shoulders of a teacher can never be estimated........and yet some think they are over paid.

5. Whitewashing with an administrative decision instead of revoking bail while he plots his escape.
Another spineless PR stunt to divert attention from privilege.

6. Look at that path that goes straight to his property!
I wonder how many kids from that school he molested? I hope the police are investigating that.

Which came first? His house? Or the school? :(

9. He never paid a dime for bail..
Basically allowed out on his own recognizance although that's not what they called it.

12. Here you go..
http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2011/11/sandusky_released_on_bail_judg.html

Jerry Sandusky has been arraigned on 40 counts of sex crimes related to boys, and was released on $100,000 unsecured bail -- meaning he won't have to pay unless he doesn't show up for court.
