The Missouri GOP is sinking, sinking fast

You know how little kids always scribble outside the lines in their coloring books?

In my mind, that was always the Democrats. Things were always a jumble, always a mess.

Not this year.

In Missouri, we’re seeing a major switcheroo. Now it’s the Republicans who are the undisciplined ones, frantically scrawling away with their bright reds and blues.

It’s colorful all right. A masterpiece it is not.

House Speaker Steve Tilley capped another downer week for the GOP with his stunner of an announcement Thursday that he’s ending his bid for lieutenant governor. Tilley, who just announced his divorce, said he wanted to spend more time with his daughters.
